What to do?

I was sent here to serve

a long time ago.

I'm almost used to the idea now.

 

There has been joy.

There has been abuse.

I am reminded of stories in The Text

servants were sent 

to attend to a task for

and

things did not go well for them. 

 

Isn't that the silliest way to begin a new year?

 It has been keeping me company 

for a few days

It's really terrific, having my head in a book again.

The weather has been nice

(a gift this time of year)

So, Dog, Cat and Lady

Have spent time outside -

sniffing

and reading together.
